Delta Section

SPE Delta participates in materials/corrosion science teachers camp

SPE-Delta and six other local societies held a free summer camp for high school science teachers on materials/corrosion engineering. The week-long program included hands-on, lab-based activities illustrating how to use applied sciences and engineering techniques in the classroom. Read more.

SPE Gulf Coast Provides Two Summer Teacher Workshops

For the third year, SPE’s Gulf Coast Section is sponsoring two week-long summer teacher training workshops for 60 teachers called ‘Exploring Earth Science:  A Summer Institute’. Read more.
